قَالُوۡا يٰشُعَيۡبُ اَصَلٰوتُكَ تَاۡمُرُكَ اَنۡ نَّتۡرُكَ مَا يَعۡبُدُ اٰبَآؤُنَاۤ اَوۡ اَنۡ نَّـفۡعَلَ فِىۡۤ اَمۡوٰلِنَا مَا نَشٰٓؤُاؕ اِنَّكَ لَاَنۡتَ الۡحَـلِيۡمُ الرَّشِيۡدُ
They said: ‘O Shu‘aib, does your Prayer only command you that we forsake those (gods) which our fathers have been worshipping, or that we refrain from doing with our wealth what we like? Surely you (alone) must be the most tolerant and guided one!’
