قَالَ يٰقَوۡمِ لِمَ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبۡلَ الۡحَسَنَةِۚ لَوۡلَا تَسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡنَ اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُوۡنَ
Salih said: ‘O my people, why do you hasten the evil (i.e. torment) before the good (i.e. mercy)? Why do you not ask for forgiveness from Allah so that you are shown mercy?’
