اِنَّ قَارُوۡنَ كَانَ مِنۡ قَوۡمِ مُوۡسَىٰ فَبَغٰى عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَاٰتَيۡنٰهُ مِنَ الۡكُنُوۡزِ مَاۤ اِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهٗ لَـتَـنُوۡٓاُ بِالۡعُصۡبَةِ اُولِىۡ الۡقُوَّةِ اِذۡ قَالَ لَهٗ قَوۡمُهٗ لَا تَفۡرَحۡ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الۡفَرِحِيۡنَ
No doubt Qarun (Korah) was of the people of Musa (Moses) but he oppressed them. And We gave him so much of treasures that it was hard for a powerful party of strong men to (carry) his keys while his people said to him: ‘Do not be arrogant and conceited (out of rejoicing). Verily Allah does not like those who gloat.
