وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَجَآءَهُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ كَرِيۡمٌۙ
And in fact We put to trial the people of Pharaoh (also) before them and the exalted Messenger (Musa [Moses]) came to them.
