وَقَالُوۡا لَوۡلَا يَاۡتِيۡنَا بِاٰيَةٍ مِّنۡ رَّبِّهٖؕ اَوَلَمۡ تَاۡتِہِمۡ بَيِّنَةُ مَا فِىۡ الصُّحُفِ الۡاُوۡلٰى
And (the disbelievers) say: ‘Why this (Prophet) does not bring us any Sign from his Lord?’ Has there not come to them (the Qur’an,) a Clear Proof of the things (mentioned) in the former Books?
