اَنۡ تَقُوۡلُـوۡۤا اِنَّمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ الۡـكِتٰبُ عَلٰى طَآٮِٕفَتَيۡنِ مِنۡ قَبۡلِنَا وَاِنۡ كُنَّا عَنۡ دِرَاسَتِهِمۡ لَغٰفِلِيۡنَۙ
(The Qur’an has been revealed lest) you (should) say: ‘The (heavenly) Book was sent down before us only to the two communities (the Jews and the Christians), and undoubtedly we were unaware of their reading and teaching.’
