وَلَـقَدِ اسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِكَ فَاَمۡلَيۡتُ لِلَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا ثُمَّ اَخَذۡتُهُمۡ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ
Indeed the Messengers were mocked (by the disbelievers) before you (as well). So I granted the disbelievers respite and then seized them (with torment). (See) then how My torment was!
