وَلَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلاً مِّنۡ قَبۡلِكَ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًا وَّذُرِّيَّةً ؕ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُوۡلٍ اَنۡ يَّاۡتِىَ بِاٰيَةٍ اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰهِؕ لِكُلِّ اَجَلٍ كِتَابٌ
And, (O Messenger,) indeed We sent before you (many) Messengers and brought up for them wives and children (as well). And that is not the role of a Messenger to bring a Sign but by Allah’s Command. There is an inscription for every appointed term.
