اِذۡ قَالَ لِاَبِيۡهِ يٰۤاَبَتِ لِمَ تَعۡبُدُ مَا لَا يَسۡمَعُ وَلَا يُبۡصِرُ وَلَا يُغۡنِىۡ عَنۡكَ شَيْئًا
When he said to his father (i.e. his uncle Azar who brought him up after his father Tarukh died): ‘O my father, why do you worship these (idols) which cannot hear or see, nor can they remove any (troublesome) thing from you?
