وَكَمۡ اَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُمۡ مِّنۡ قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ اَحۡسَنُ اَثَاثًا وَّرِءۡيًا
And how many a people have We destroyed before them who were better off (than these) in worldly assets and pomp and show.
