فَقَالَ اِنِّىۡۤ اَحۡبَبۡتُ حُبَّ الۡخَيۡرِ عَنۡ ذِكۡرِ رَبِّىۡۚ حَتّٰى تَوَارَتۡ بِالۡحِجَابِ
He said (remorsefully): ‘I have committed love for wealth (i.e. horses) more than the love for the remembrance of my Lord until (the sun) disappeared behind the veil (of night).’
