وَاتَّخَذَ قَوۡمُ مُوۡسٰى مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ مِنۡ حُلِيِّهِمۡ عِجۡلاً جَسَدًا لَّهٗ خُوَارٌؕ اَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا اَنَّهٗ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمۡ وَلَا يَهۡدِيۡهِمۡ سَبِيۡلاًۘ اِتَّخَذُوۡهُ وَكَانُوۡا ظٰلِمِيۡنَ
And after Musa ([Moses] left for the Mount of Tur), his people contrived a calf out of their ornaments (which was) a carving with a mooing sound. Did they not see that it could neither speak to them nor show them any path? They took the same (as god) and they were unjust.
