وَرَفَعۡنَا فَوۡقَهُمُ الطُّوۡرَ بِمِيۡثَاقِهِمۡ وَقُلۡنَا لَهُمُ ادۡخُلُوۡا الۡبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَّقُلۡنَا لَهُمۡ لَا تَعۡدُوۡا فِىۡ السَّبۡتِ وَاَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ مِّيۡثَاقًا غَلِيۡظًا
And (when the Jews again rejected the injunctions contained in the Torah,) We raised (and suspended the Mount of) Tur over them in order to take a (firm) promise from themAnd We commanded them: ‘Enter the gate (of this city - the Ailia gate) prostrating (in gratitude),’ and We (also) said to them: ‘Do not also violate the Sabbath (prohibition of fishing on Saturday), and We took from them a reiterated and firm promise.’
