يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَقۡرَبُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ سُكَارٰى حَتّٰى تَعۡلَمُوۡا مَا تَقُوۡلُوۡنَ وَلَا جُنُبًا اِلَّا عَابِرِىۡ سَبِيۡلٍ حَتّٰى تَغۡتَسِلُوۡاؕ وَاِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مَّرۡضَىٰۤ اَوۡ عَلٰى سَفَرٍ اَوۡ جَآءَ اَحَدٌ مِّنۡكُمۡ مِّنَ الۡغَآٮِٕطِ اَوۡ لٰمَسۡتُمُ النِّسَآءَ فَلَمۡ تَجِدُوۡا مَآءً فَتَيَمَّمُوۡا صَعِيۡدًا طَيِّبًا فَامۡسَحُوۡا بِوُجُوۡهِكُمۡ وَاَيۡدِيۡكُمۡؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَفُوًّا غَفُوۡرًا
O Believers! Do not go near Prayer in a drunken state until you are able to understand what you sayNor (should you approach Prayer) until you bathe after total ablution becomes obligatory unless you are travellingAnd if you are sick or on a journey or return from a call of nature or make sexual contact with (your) women and then fail to find water, clean yourselves by using pure soilSo wipe your faces and handsSurely, Allah is Most Pardoning, Most Forgiving
