وَاِذِ اسۡتَسۡقَىٰ مُوۡسٰى لِقَوۡمِهٖ فَقُلۡنَا اضۡرِب بِّعَصَاكَ الۡحَجَرَؕ فَانفَجَرَتۡ مِنۡهُ اثۡنَتَا عَشۡرَةَ عَيۡنًاؕ قَدۡ عَلِمَ کُلُّ اُنَاسٍ مَّشۡرَبَهُمۡؕ کُلُوۡا وَاشۡرَبُوۡا مِنۡ رِّزۡقِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِيۡنَ
And (recall also the time) when Musa (Moses) prayed for water for his peopleWe directed: ‘Strike that rock with your stick.’ Then twelve springs gushed out of that (rock)Verily each clan identified their respective drinking place(We said:) ‘Eat and drink of the sustenance (given) by Allah but do not seek doing mischief in the land.
