وَقَالُوۡا لَنۡ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ اِلَّاۤ اَيَّامًا مَّعۡدُوۡدَةً ؕ قُلۡ اَتَّخَذۡتُمۡ عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ عَهۡدًا فَلَنۡ يُّخۡلِفَ اللّٰهُ عَهۡدَهٗۤ اَمۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ
And they (the Jews also) say: ‘The Fire (of Hell) shall not touch us except for a small number of days.’ (Just) ask (them): ‘Have you obtained (such) a promise from Allah?’ Then He will never violate His promiseOr do you make inadvertently (such an) allegation against Allah which you do not know yourselves.’
